Second Boring Assessment

Kate survived the second assessment.  The cognitive, which is reading, writing, math, listening.  It took over 2 hours but she made it through.  She is so glad it's over, she won't have to do it again for 3 months!  I will get the results and they will tell me what the program will look like.  I will get my homework assignments.  Kate will start the program on Friday!
So, at bedtime last night Kate was telling me a little about the testing. She said it was so boring and it was a lot of writing. So she put arrows on the Ss, so they would look like snakes. I asked her why and she said to make it more fun! And when she would dot the i , she would say “boing” every time. That’s how bored she was, she was making up ways to make it more fun. She asked “What do I do for the actual program?” We’ll find out on Thursday @ 12:30,

So today is our day off and we are at the library.  Great library here!!  Kate has some plumbing and appliance books to check out and I get to update the blog.  Sweet!

There was a little problem with the washer that caused some excitement (and not the positive kind :).  The washer wouldn't spin and Kate was worried that they wouldn't be able to fix it.  But, they came today (twice) and it is hopefully working now.  We will go try it out in a little while.

We went to Walmart yesterday and bought Kate 2 new pairs of fleece pants.  She picked them out AND is wearing one of them today.  Pink and white fuzzy camo.  That's my girl :)!  For those of you who don't know, Kate always wears her "uniform" everyday.  So, this is a big day!  Changes are already happening and we haven't even started the program yet!!!
