This is Kate's favorite part after taking a shower!  She loves to extract the water from our suits.

Kate was super excited to swim today.  We got there around 3 and I realized I didn't have my discount card.  I accidentally gave it to Terra to give to Kim instead of giving her the Dixie Direct Card.  Wow, taht sure taught me that I have to pay attention and not be drifting off in la-la land while I am doing things.  So we drove to Kim's and got the card but by then it was too late to go to the pool.  They opened again at 6:30pm so we ate dinner, did exercises (record time, I might add), and got there and in the pool around 7.  Kate got a nice surprise while there!  THey let kids wear life jackets on the big waterslide!  So, Kate was able to go on it and not go under at the end.  She was so excited, she got whislted at twice for running :)  She was totally unaware that the lifeguard was blowing the whistle at her, ha ha.  So, I had to remind her to walk.  She probably went up the stairs and down the slide a dozen times.  She loves it and I am so glad she is able to go on it.

So, it was pretty funny how she was trying to trick me at the pool.  I was waiting for her at the bottom and she said she was going on the frog slide (the one in the little kids area).  And then she would start climbing the stairs, give me one of her cute waves, and then cover her mouth and giggle!!  So funny!!  Hehe, I told Mom I was going on the frog slide and I am really going on the big waterslide.  She would come down and swim over to me and say "I tricked you!!"  It was awesome.

We got back around 8:45, way past bedtime.  But, it was worth it because she actually enjoys taking a shower there.  She will never take one at home, not even a bath.  Well, tonight, I even washed her up with soap!!  AND, washed her hair with shampoo.  Let me tell you this is a great accomplishment.  I think we will go to the pool every week, just for the shower! Haha.  When she was in the shower I told her she could shower whenever she wants to at home.  I know soon she will take me up on it.  Ok, the other thing is that last time at the pool she wouldn't shower before she got in the pool, like the signs tells you too, and this time I reminded her what the sign said and she did it!!!  I am just giddy, she followed a rule.

Ok, the last thing is that she has been leaving her fur and "things"(salamander, Aurora(puppy), snakes, etc etc) in the cubby at BB and at Jumpin Jacks.  So I asked her to keep her things and fur in the locker while we were swimming and she didn't protest!  Amazing!  AND  I didn't take them out of the backpack until we got home and she asked for them.  WHOO HOO.  So great.
