For weeks now I have been trying to figure out why Kate gets so fatigued when she does the exercises. Some days she has to rest so much in between exercises that it takes double the time. I have been wondering: is it food related? is it the high ammonia? is it my attitude? is it the time of day? are the exercises too hard for her? is she pretending to be tired so she doesn't have to do them? WHAT IS IT????
Well, a little while ago she said that being tired was an effect of the exercises. Ok, I thought, they are too hard for her. Today I was asking her about it and this is what she said, "It is an effect of the exercises. AHHH. I don't know, it is hard to explain.(getting irritated). It's an effect of me not wanting to do the exercises!"
Well, there you have it! Now I know. So, I told her that she can choose to do the exercises and be tired, or she can choose to do the exercises with energy. Either way, we are still doing the exercises. THREE TIMES A DAY, EVERYDAY. Hopefully soon she will realize it is easier to move through them quickly. She will be able to do more of what she wants if she gets them done sooner. She is still learning it however.
What incredible strides. I look forward to your posts and the amazing progress. I am thrilled for you all. She's pretty amazing!!!
